2024 Pelican Plunge

The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island is hosting the 2024 Pelican Plunge on January 1 at 10:30 a.m. All proceeds will benefit Emerald Coast Foundation’s programs for children.

During the pre-event, enjoy hot cocoa and coffee, grab raffle tickets for prizes, and participate in the costume contest while enjoying great music.

At 11:30 a.m., everyone will line up and begin the countdown to their run across the beach to make their plunge—definitely an eye-opener if you happened to have celebrated New Year’s Eve a bit too enthusiastically.

The post-party will be held on The Boardwalk at Saltwater Restaurants, Inc.’s Crab Trap with their famous gumbo, drink specials, live music, and raffle opportunities—all proceeds will help local children in our community.
