The Okaloosa County School District (OCSD) Maintenance Department enjoyed a free lunch with sister station 100.3 KROCK Radio’s B-Team on January 12 at their facility in Niceville.

Robert Dwyer, Maintenance Electrician at OCSD, had submitted the winning entry for the radio station’s “Lunch with the B Team” contest. His entire department was treated to free lunch from McAlister’s Deli.

Dwyer thanked the 100.3 KROCK Radio B-Team and McAlister’s Deli, “We are very grateful and appreciate this lunch opportunity. A lot of times, we are the forgotten groups. Behind the scenes, we keep the schools operating.”

“It’s an honor for us to be a part of providing lunch for the Okaloosa County School District,” stated B-Team member Schuyler Black. “These guys are the blue-collar team who keep the fleet of buses running. It’s important to recognize the folks that do the work for our local young people and oftentimes go unnoticed.”

The next Free Lunch with the B-Team contest winner will be announced on-air on Wednesday, January 31, at 7:40 a.m. Nominate your office once for your chance to win. However, you can also ask your colleagues, bosses, teammates, and employees to enter to give your office more opportunities to win.
