Eglin Air Force Base’s Department of Defense Plumbing Shop was the winner of our sister station 100.3 KROCK Radio’s Lunch with the B-Team contest and enjoyed free lunch from McAlister’s Deli on January 31.

Having submitted the winning entry for the radio station’s “Lunch with the B Team” contest, Ronald Shier enjoyed the lunch with his coworkers who diligently maintain Eglin AF Base’s infrastructure in good operating order.

“First, I’d like to thank radio station 100.3 KROCK for providing lunch for me and my fellow workers from McAlister’s Deli,” Shier said. “I heard nothing but great responses when I asked if they enjoyed the meal.”

“Also, from all of us at the plumbing shop, water and waste and liquid fuels, we would like to extend our appreciation for our local businesses showing their support for all of us here on Eglin AFB,” said Shier.

B-Team member Schuyler Black said, “This was our first winning department from the area military bases. Ronald and the DOD Plumbing Shop have been avid listeners and supporters of the B-Team Morning Show. We’re excited to provide lunch to such a great group.”

“Here we are again,” Diamond Lee, McAlister’s Deli General Manager, said, “bringing happiness and food for a deserving group of people. To be able to brighten their day is worth it.”

The next free Lunch with the B-Team contest winner will be announced on-air February 29 at 7:40 a.m. Nominate your office for a chance to win lunch from McAlister’s Deli (up to 25 people).
