Wondering what to do with your children this summer when school lets out in May? Here are just a few fun ideas children may enjoy exploring in Okaloosa County. Don’t wait too long to register your child for a summer camp experience as spaces book quickly.
Crestview Country Club is hosting two half-day PGA Camps, one beginning June 24 and the other July 8. Open to youth aged 8 to 11 as well as those 10-13, the camps will help teach young golfers whether a new player or intermediate.
Two camp sessions for kindergarteners to sixth grade are available at Parker-Anderson Summer Camps at Crestview beginning June 17 and the second on July 1.
First Baptist Crestview invites kids to their Summer Music and Arts Camp 2024 (SMAAC) to learn about music and other artistic endeavors. A separate program for the littles that runs alongside the regular SMAAC. Classes openings are almost full.
Drama Kids of Northwest Florida Summer Camp is holding various summer sessions for imaginative and fun drama experiences for kids 6-12 in Destin, Fort Walton Beach, and Niceville.
Summer Horse Camp at The Equestrian Center in Fort Walton Beach offers camps catered to younger riders learning to ride.
Register your child aged 7-18 years old for sailing camps beginning June 3 and running through August 2 with Emerald Coast Sailing Association Sailing Camp.
Boys and girls can enroll in Northwest Florida Ballet’s Summer 2024 Dance Camps in three different dance camps: Pre-School Ballet Classes to learn creative movement; “It’s A Small World” designed for kindergarteners; and “Adventures of Barbie & Ken” for dancers entering 1st and 2nd grade.
Both day and overnight camps are offered at 4-H Summer Camp Timpoochee for youths aged 8-16 beginning June 3.
