Discover Science Saturday: Star Wars Summer Kickoff

May the Force be with you at Emerald Coast Science Center’s summer kick off event with very special surprise guests. Don those Jedi robes or Storm Trooper armor and prepare for some fun photo ops along with participating in their Ozobot Star Wars challenge (these are the droids you are looking for), make your own Yoda puppet mask (“Do. Or do not. There is no try.”), and travel through the galaxy with fun Star Wars-inspired games on the sciPad (Help us, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You’re our only hope for summer fun.). The event will be held at 31 Memorial Parkway SW in Fort Walton Beach with the following schedule:

• Hands-on activities are available from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• sciPad games from 12 noon to 1 p.m.

Your ticket offers access to all activities included with general admission pricing (which means current Science Center members get in free). General Admission is $12 Adult/Senior/Child while kids 2 and under are free. A military discount is also available.
