United Way Emerald Coast believes every girl should feel empowered and confident. They invite girls to join them for Women United’s next EmpowHER teen mental health workshop Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Choctawhatchee High School (110 Racetrack Road NW in Fort Walton Beach).

Presented by Eglin Federal Credit Union www.eglinfcu.org in partnership with Okaloosa County School District, the event offers:

  • Dance it off with the Indianettes Dance Team as they help attendees “Find Your Anthem.”
  • See into the world of color with Women United Member Robbie Truax’s workshop on “Comparison and Color Theory.”
  • Boost mental well-being with sessions on mindfulness, resilience, and healthy relationships from local businesswomen and licensed mental health professionals, including Dr. Kameko McGuire from New Hope Mental Health and Wellness.

Lunch will be provided offering attendees a chance to recharge, connect with fellow participants, and make new friends. Register now for this free and prepare for a day of empowerment, growth, and fun.
