The Okaloosa Board of County Commissioners offers a free Hurricane Preparedness Expo to equip you and the community to prepare for the challenges of hurricanes. The Hurricane Preparedness Expo is coming to the  on May 11, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Event highlights include:

  • Informative seminars sharing valuable insights on hurricane preparedness strategies. Learn about evacuation plans, emergency shelters, and essential supplies.
  • The opportunity to engage with industry professionals and meteorologists who will provide up-to-date information and expert advice.
  • Emergency Services Showcase exploring the latest in emergency response technology and equipment. This also provides a means to connect with local emergency services to enhance your safety plans.
  • Local food trucks (looking for vendors) will provide you a variety of delicious options while networking with fellow attendees.
