Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Women and Kids’ Self-Defense Classes

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention team is offering free self-defense classes for both women and kids on April 13 at two locations. The kids’ class begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 10:15 a.m. The women’s class begins at 10:30 a.m. and ends at 12 noon. All classes will be held at Gordon Martial Arts (130 W. Oakdale Avenue in Crestview) and Emerald Coast Martial Arts (726 N. Beal in Fort Walton Beach). Choose the location nearest you. There is no pre-registration required for the classes, just show up. However, everyone taking the class must sign a waiver of liability which will be provided—adults sign for their kids.
