Sleep in Heavenly Peace is hosting a volunteer bed build on May 4 from 7:30 a.m. until 12 noon at De’France Indoor Fleamarket Antiques & Collectibles (230 Eglin Parkway SE) in Fort Walton Beach. The goal is building 20 bunks which equates to 40 beds for children experiencing bedlessness in Okaloosa County. Volunteers do not need to bring any tools (work gloves are a good idea and no experience is needed. All ages welcome to register to help. If you know of a family in need, please have them apply for a free bed and all its bedding.
