Love and Tacos at Amor y Tacos with the B Team—What Could Possibly Be Better?

Owner Juan Tavera and General Manager Raul Reveles welcomed everyone to the restaurant’s grand opening at their new location at 4550 E Highway 20 STE D in Niceville on Friday, March 15. Schuyler Black and Dawn Austin,100.3 KROCK’s B Team, were there broadcasting live to celebrate the opening.

Mexican food is beloved everywhere for its amazing tastes and one-of-a-kind dishes offering vibrant colors and unique, authentic flavors as denoted by Reveles. And that is exactly what Amor y Tacos delivered—unique, made-from-scratch Mexican cuisine, signature spirits and amazing cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere everyone enjoyed.

While many diners enjoyed eating inside the festively-decorated restaurant, a number also enjoyed the plentiful seating outside on the patio. One enthusiastic diner, J.R. McGovern, left not so much as a stain on his plate after devouring his burrito. Chris and Todd Wilkinson also left behind clean plates. Plus, Chris and J.R. raved about their delicious Margaritas bedecked with a fresh orchid and thick slice of orange.

All diners were appreciative of the great service offered by the friendly staff as well as the great menu choices. Wide ranging, both the lunch and dinner menu offer something for everyone—Nachos the beloved tacos, Carne Asada, vegetarian choices, steak, seafood, and other specialties. There is also a kids’ menu. Finish your dining experiences with one of their tasty desserts such as Sopapilla.
